Afton Ring Christensen Robinson, 98, of Grace, ID passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Roy, Utah. Afton was born September 25, 1916 in Central, Idaho the daughter of John E. and Helga Ring Christensen. She attended and graduated from Grace High School. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Afton married F. Roland Robinson on January 6, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away on November 12, 1996. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and crocheting. She also enjoyed attending the Temple and working in name extraction. Afton is survived by six sons and one daughter, Karl (Renee) Robinson of Idaho Falls, ID, Gene (Dortha) Robinson of White City, UT, Stan (Kathy) Robinson of Roy, UT, Paul (Jerilyn Mecham) Robinson of Pocatello, ID, Kent Robinson of Salt Lake City, UT, Fred (Debbie) Robinson of Medford, OR, and Jewel (Gary) McLean of Ogden, UT. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers and sisters, 2 grandsons and a daughter-in-law ElDene Robinson . Services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. Family will visit with friends Saturday morning from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services.
