Obituary
Albert "Al" Joseph Foster, 71, of Soda Springs passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at his home.
Al was born on November 23, 1940 in Grace, Idaho the son of Hyrum Elon and Alberta Ardeena Daniels Foster.
He was raised and educated in Soda Springs and graduated from Soda Springs High School. He later became a Journeyman Electrician and worked for Monsanto for 36 years.
He married Joyce Dee Sorensen on March 10, 1961 in Ogden, Utah.
Al had been an EMT and an EMT Trainer. He loved to camp, cook, fish and working with wood.
He is survived by his wife Joyce of Soda Springs, and two sons, Alan and Colleen Foster of Soda Springs, Jerry and Lisa Foster of Ogden, Utah, and a daughter Joann Foster of Blackfoot, Idaho. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and one brother Steve and Caroline Foster of Utah and a sister Viola Pope of Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
