Alta May Mansfield Chlarson, 81, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. Alta was born on May 12, 1935 in Plymouth, Utah the daughter of John Bates and Manilla Trappett Mansfield. She married Dale Thomas Chlarson on September 11, 1952 in Brigham City, Utah. Alta enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and quilting. She also loved hummingbirds and could watch them all day. She is survived by four sons, and one daughter, Thomas (Jody) Chlarson of Downey, ID, Rodney (Shauna) Chlarson of Pocatello, ID, Dennis (Charlotte) Chlarson of Nampa, ID, Jeffrey Chlarson of Calera, AL, Julie (Roy) Beard of Chubbuck, ID. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and one brother, Mark Gervis Mansfield of Great Falls, MT. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale T. Chlarson and brothers, JH. Dewey Mansfield, G. Lorenzo Mansfield, George L. Mansfield and a sister T. Irene Shafer and a grandson Levi Chlarson. Services will be held on Friday, January 20 at 11 a.m. at the Grace LDS Stake Center. Family will visit with friends on Thursday 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home and Friday 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery. Listen to service
