Arline Ramona Thomas Gibson, 93, of Grace, Idaho passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019.

Arline was born on April 26, 1925 the daughter of William Eugene and Marion Elliott Thomas.

She married Lee Willis Gibson on April 26, 1955. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
He passed away on May 16, 1994.

Her earlier years were spent in Lago, Rupert, Paul and Grace. She spent the past 60 years living in the Farmhouse on Telford Road. She spent her younger years working with her father on the family farm in Lago. The family raised a large garden that she spent many hours weeding and harvesting the produce. She acquired her cooking skills from her mother.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and has held numerous callings. In addition to being a mother and incredible homemaker, she loved gardening, canning, quilting, and taking great pride in her flower gardens. Her husband Lee stated later in their marriage that he was extremely fortunate to have married a striking woman with exceptional cooking skills and kept a very neat home and was a good mother. She enjoyed huckleberry picking with her sisters and brother. She looked forward to her sisters visits and their adventures together, cooking together and exchanging recipes. She loved being with her family and grandkids.

Arline is survived by four sons and one daughter, Dwight and Diane Hansen of Vacaville, CA, Mike and LouAnn Gibson of Grace, ID, Gordon and Peggy Gibson of Grace, ID, Greg Gibson of Grace, ID and Sue and Curtis Bassett of Soda Springs, ID. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Garth Thomas and two sisters, Jenny Morrison and Norma Jolly. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Gibson, three brothers, one sister, one son Dallas Hansen, a granddaughter Tina Bassett and grandson Philip Gibson.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Noon at the Thatcher-Williams Ward Chapel in Niter. Family will visit with friends on Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.
