Barry Ellis Skinner, 69; of Soda Springs passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020.

He was born on June 21, 1951 in Soda Springs, Idaho the son of Ellis Harris and Shirley Lewis Skinner.

Barry Lived in Conda, ID for 21 years and 48 years in Soda Springs, ID.  He graduated from Soda Springs High School.

He married Maxine Jenson on March 19, 1977 in Talmage, UT.  They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served in various calling including, executive secretary, ward membership clerk and also served in the Sunday school presidency.

Barry worked for J.R. Simplot until his retirement.  He enjoyed bowling, cross-stitch, latch hook and sports and especially the Utah Jazz.

He is survived by his wife Maxine, two sons and a daughter, Austin (Holley) Skinner of Soda Springs, ID, Eric (Marie) Skinner of Colorado Springs, CO, Laurie Skinner of Soda Springs, ID, and 6 grandchildren, one brother Kent Skinner of Cody, WY, and a sister Shirlene Jenson of Talmage, UT.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Noon at the Soda Springs Bailey Creek LDS Chapel (361 S. 3 ^rd E.).  Family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services.  Burial will be in the Soda Springs Fairview Cemetery.
