Obituary

Barry Lynn Weaver, 51, passed away suddenly January 24, 2013, in Clinton, Arkansas.

He was born February 22, 1961, in Pocatello, Idaho - the son of William Russell Weaver and Sally Lee Young Weaver. He attended elementary school in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He completed the remainder of his schooling in St. Anthony, Idaho, where he grew up and helped his grandfather and his uncle on the family farm.

After leaving high school, Barry eventually settled in Oklahoma where he was employed in the gas and oil fields. It was here that he met and married his wife, Janet Sharp. They later moved to Mountainberg, Arkansas, and then to Clinton, Arkansas, where they were living at the time of his death.

Barry loved the out of doors and all that it offered. His walls were filled with trophies from his many hunts. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a special love for the Teton's and the Upper and Lower Mesa Falls in Fremont County where he grew up. At the time of his death, he had already scheduled a winter cougar hunt in Montana and was looking forward to it in February.

Barry was self employed and owned his own business, Weaver's Welding. He had 4 "roustabout" crews in his employ and contracted with the natural gas companies in his area to provide maintenance services. Barry was a hard worker and he took great pride in his work He maintained a high standard for himself and his employees. He was very well respected by the people he worked with.

He had a love for life and counseled others often that they "needed to enjoy life." One of his favorite sayings was "life is good!".

Barry is survived by his wife, Janet; his mother and stepfather, Sally and Michael Webster; a brother, Larry Quinn Weaver (Lindsey), a sister, Tonya Evette Hollist (Boyd Lynn), stepbrothers Shane Webster (Jennifer), Creed Webster (Cindi), Scott Webster (Ange) and stepsister Shalane Pierson (David); and his grandmother, Bethia Weaver. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins that loved him and enjoyed their time with him.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Russell Weaver; his grandparents, Cy and Vera Young and Evan Weaver and his cousin, Danny Young.

A viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at the Sims Funeral Home, 139 E. 2nd So., Soda Springs, Idaho. A memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home following the viewing at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Grace, Idaho.
