Betty Jean Perry Call, 63; of Soda Springs passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012 at her home in Soda Springs.
Betty was born on November 5, 1948 in Midland, Michigan the daughter of Richard Edson and Betty Jean Spidel Perry.
She was raised in Midland, Michigan and graduated from Midland High School.
Betty married Stephen Lindsay Call on January 17, 1970 in Midland, Michigan and then on January 19, 1970 they solemnized their marriage in the Logan Utah LDS Temple.
She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served as Primary President and Counselor in the Relief Society.
Betty enjoyed reading, listening to books and her association on the Ruger Forum.
She had worked as a clerk typist for the USMC, Homemaker and was the Director of the City Parks in Soda Springs for a number of years.
Betty is survived by her husband Steve Call of Soda Springs, ID; and two sons, Jonathan Blain and Melissia Call of Boquette, Panama; Jeffrey Todd Call of Soda Springs, ID; and two daughters, Anne Marie Hunt of Pocatello, ID; Kristy Lynn Frisk of Pocatello, ID. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and two brothers and two sisters, Jerold and Martina Perry of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Richard and Jeanne Perry of Troy, Michigan; Gloria Costley of Florida; Carol and Phillip Ivan of Midland, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Noon at the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home and on Wednesday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Stake Center prior to services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
