Obituary

Beverly Sant Gibson was born October 17, 1940 in Soda Springs, Idaho to Delora Annie Westerberg and Dell Sant. She grew up in Thatcher Idaho and lived all her life in the Grace area. Beverly attended Thatcher Elementary and Grace High School. After high school Beverly attended Grimms Business College in Pocatello Idaho where she graduated with a certificate.

Beverly married Don Lowe Gibson on February 25, 1966. They were sealed in the LDS temple on March 18, 1968. They had three daughters Stacey Gibson, Brenda Gay (Albert) and Shelley Cox (Casey).

Beverly was a wonderful homemaker and taught her daughters how to cook, crochet and sew. When they were young she made many of their clothes, always in matching patterns with different color fabric. Beverly was always making something, baking bread, canning, quilting, sewing or making homemade meals for her family. Beverly had a large and impressive yard that was always brimming with color. She loved being outside in her raspberry patch, planting flowers or pulling weeds.

Beverly also worked as a custodian for the school district, a job she took great pride in. She worked there for 20 years and loved interacting with the students at the school.

Beverly had a love of learning. She was always reading books or studying her scriptures. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and their educational accomplishments and attended every graduation event.

Beverly was an ideal grandmother. She would often babysit her grandchildren and always had them engaged in a project or activity.

Beverly was selfless, kind, patient and loving. She was a woman who put family and faith first.

Beverly passed away peacefully on February 6, 2019 with her daughters by her side. Beverly is survived by her daughters Stacey, Brenda and Shelley, her grandchildren Steven Banks, Bailey Cox, Cody Gay, Dalton Cox and Kyle Gay. She is also survived by her brother Claude Sant and sister RaDean Carver. She was proceeded in death by her husband Don Lowe Gibson, her parents Dell and Delora Sant, her brother Dallas Sant and her sister NaDean Sant.
