Blake Clifford Kent was 43 years old when our Heavenly Father called him home in the afternoon of November 23rd 2021.  Heaven gained an incredible husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and most important friend.

Blake was born December 27th, 1977 in Downey, Idaho to Clifford and Melanie Anderson Kent.

He grew up in Arimo, Idaho and was always surrounded by wonderful friends with a childhood that was carefree and chuck full of adventure.  He graduated from Marsh Valley High School with high honors in 1996.  Blake served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Peru Lima East Mission.  He married the love of his life Dayna Moser June 12th, 1999 in the Logan, Utah LDS temple. They were blessed with 6 beautiful children.  He attended Idaho State University and graduated with a degree in Mechanical engineering receiving high honors (top 2% in the United States).

Blake was currently working for Bayer in Soda Springs, Idaho.  He received recognitions and awards for numerous work projects.  Anyone who ever got to know Blake loved his work ethic and his compassion for others. His absence in this earthly life will be missed by those who had the opportunity to call him a friend.

Blake is survived by his eternal companion, Dayna Moser Kent, his six children:  KoBee (Kassie) Kent, KamRee Kent, GraCee Kent, SoPhee Kent, DeNee Kent, and KrozLee Kent. His parents, Clifford and Melanie Kent, CaTrena (Rick) Kneip, Krista (Kip) Batts, Aubrey (Scott) Lowe, Morgan (Robin) Kent, Quinn (Stephanie) Kent, and grandmother Marjorie Anderson. He was also the father and friend of many numerous others he considered his "heart" children.  Their home has always had an open door policy for many family members, teenagers and LDS missionaries.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Sidney Kent, grandmother Gloria Smith Kent, Grandfather Melvin J. Anderson, Dennis H. Moser and Deanne Rasmussen Moser.

The visitation with  the family will be:

Friday November 26th at 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. at Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs, Idaho

There will also be a visitation at the LDS Stake Center in Arimo, Idaho on Saturday, November 27th from 10:00 am-11:30 am.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm.  Interment will be in the Arimo City Cemetery in Arimo, Idaho.

The visitation with the family will be:
