Brenda Hubbard Wilson passed away February 26, 2026, at her home in Bancroft, Idaho, surrounded by her loved ones after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 28, 1945, to Elvin and Helen Hubbard. She grew up in Grace, Idaho and graduated from Grace High School in 1963. She attended Rick's College, where she was on the Honor Roll, and later attended Utah State University, where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.
She began her lifelong teaching career at Thatcher Elementary. She enjoyed education and children, and her teaching positions ranged from preschool to all grades of elementary in both North Gem and Grace.
She married the love of her life, Roger Wilson, in 1969 in the Logan LDS Temple and they made their home in Bancroft. They were happily married for almost 57 years.
She loved gardening, crafting, music and, most of all, children. She served faithfully in various church callings, her favorite being in the Primary. She also served with her husband in the Logan LDS Temple.
She is survived by her eternal companion Roger, her children Bart
Wilson (Bountiful, Utah), Susan (Ron) Henson (Las Vegas, Nevada), Stephanie (Tage) Vigil (West Haven, Utah), Sheila (John) Low (Bancroft, Idaho), Lorane (Brett) Willyerd (Westminster, Maryland), Craig Wilson (Bancroft, Idaho), Melanie (Jeron) Eatchel (South Jordan, Utah), her siblings, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother and two siblings.
The family would like to thank Brett Smith, and the infusion center and home health/hospice staff for their loving care of Brenda in her final days.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 12 noon at the Bancroft LDS Church. A viewing will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
