Bruce attended grade school in Wayan and high school in Soda Springs. The summer after he graduated, he met his sweetheart and best friend, Wendy Carver, and together they built a family of best friends.

Bruce and Wendy were married on August 1, 1985 and were later sealed in the Logan Temple. They had four children: Kelsie, Travis, Amber, and Hailey.

Many may remember Bruce as a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes of his priorities and beliefs. Those who knew him best loved his playful sense of humor. Nothing he did was for recognition. He spent much of his life serving his family and everyone he came in contact with. He would have your back without question. He was the truest kind of friend.

There was seemingly nothing he couldn't fix, whether it be a bad day, anything around the house, or something not worth fixing that one of his kids loved.
