Obituary
Carl John Christensen, 78, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Caribou Memorial Living Center.
Carl was born April 4, 1940 in Chesterfield, Idaho to Neils and Ruth Christensen. He attended school in Bancroft, Idaho. He made his home in Bancroft working at the time Wilson Farm Services. He later moved to Pocatello.
Carl John loved to dance and sing. He would go to any function he could find where he could dance; He danced with the nurses and staff at both Edgewood and Caribou Memorial Living Center and loved every minute of it. Carl loved to fish and hunt. He loved to spend time with his family.
Carl John is survived by one sister, Coraleen Winkley of Salt Lake City, Utah and one brother, Mads (Jane Ann) Christensen of Soda Springs.
He was preceded in death by his Father Neils, Mother Ruth, and three brothers, Roland, Russell and Neils Junior, and six sisters, Maria Brown, LaVora Higden, Elsa Wood, Ramona Taylor, Ruthina Thornock and Emma Jean Hatch.
The family would like to thank all the staff; Nurses and CAN and Kitchen help and Pink Ladies and Dr. Housley at both Edgewood Living Center and Caribou Memorial Living Center for the great care and comfort you gave Carl during his stay.
At Carl's request cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be at a later date.
