Carl Robert Coburn, 81; of Bancroft, Idaho passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021.

He was born on July 27, 1940 in Idaho Falls, Idaho the son of Carl Hill and Zelma Standley Coburn.

Carl graduated from high school and then joined the Air Force Reserves.

He married Irene Margaret Wilms.  They were later divorced.

He married Vera Diane Bowman on November 6, 1975 in Jackson, Wyoming.

Carl worked as a heavy equipment operator while working road construction and mining.  He traveled a lot around Idaho, Texas and New Mexico.

He was a member of the American Legion.  He also enjoyed collecting coins, guns and going fishing and taking long drives.

Carl is survived by his three sons and two daughters, Carl Vaughan (Terri) Coburn of Idaho Falls, ID, John Ervin (Simone) Coburn of Fairfax, VA, Roger Delynn (Mandy) Coburn of Grace, ID, Cynthia Gayle Coburn of Preston, ID, Sherry Ilene (Rick) Densley of Clifton, ID.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and one sister Sherly Rose.  He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother Vaughn Standley Coburn and a sister Cathrine Renae Nash.

Per his wishes he was cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date.
