Carl LaSelle Norris, 95; of Soda Springs passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 at home.

Carl was born on December 13, 1914 in Randolph, Utah the son of Wilford and Elise Johanneson Wahlquist Norris.

He was raised in Randolph, Utah. He graduated from South Rich High School and also attended Utah Agricultural College.

Carl married Barbara Sutton on September 17, 1937 in Logan, Utah at the Logan LDS Temple and they lived in Lake Town, Utah. They later moved to Soda Springs were Carl worked for Monsanto Co. from 1952 to 1978.
After retiring in 1978 they lived in Mesa, AZ. and Logan, Utah. They later moved back to Soda Springs in 2000. Barbara passed away on June 13, 2009.

Carl was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was a High Priest and had served in various other positions.

He enjoyed Dancing with the Dancing Granny's until age 92. He always enjoyed the Senior Citizen Centers in Soda Springs and Logan. He also liked Lapidary. He also loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Carl is survived by two sons and one daughter, David C. and Carol Ann Norris of Soda Springs, ID; Jeff and Cindy Norris of Orem, UT; Ann and KC Bedingfield of West Jordan, UT. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara and a son Michael Norris.

Services were held on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Soda Springs LDS 1st Ward Chapel (361 South 3rd East). Burial was in the Randolph Cemetery in Randolph, Utah.
