IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carl Jr.
Rasmussen

Carl Jr Rasmussen was born July 26, 1930 to Carl Herman Rasmussen and Vonda Keller Rasmussen in Mink Creek, Idaho. Jr. passed through the veil peacefully on July 20, 2020 into the arms of hi sweetheart, Ila Mae Beckstead.
Jr's mother died when he was three years old, he lived with his father and grandparents, as his fathers Government trapping job left him no time to take care of his two small children, Jr. and Florence.
When he was 8 ½ his father remarried Beryl Beckstead and they welcomed four more siblings.
He attended elementary in Grace and Thatcher as well as high school in Grace graduating in 1948. He then joined the U.S. Airforce in September of 1948. He trained in Texas, then was sent to Japan. He was there for one year then shipped to Korea. After one year there he was shipped home. While on leave he fell in love with a girl he had known all his life but paid little attention to. He married Ila Mae Beckstead on September 12, 1952 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Jr. worked for Monsanto for the first ten years of their marriage, and against the advice of family he quit to realize his dream of owning a farm. With the Lords help and lots of hard work, he provided a beautiful life for himself and his family. He was a generous man and would do anything to help ANYONE.
He is survived by children, Kim C. (Diana) Rasmussen, Patti Jo (Steve) Roedel and Janet Rasmussen. He is also survived by his sisters Florence Johnson, Maxine (Larry) Hildreth and brothers, Alan (LuDene) Rasmussen and Lynn (Glenna) Rasmussen, and 16 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sweetheart Ila Mae and a son Bart Jr, his parents and a sister Beverly.
The family wishes to thank everyone who played a part in his life.
