Carol Lucille Hirsbrunner, 76 of Soda Springs, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 in Kaysville Utah with loving family surrounding her.
Carol was born May 19, 1940, in Soda Springs, Idaho, the first daughter of Walter Hirsbrunner and Lucille (Reese) Hirsbrunner. Carol has lived in Grays Lake; Meridian; Soda Spring, Idaho and Philipsburg, Montana.
Carol worked many years for the Soda Springs School Districted serving school lunches. She enjoyed being around all the students.
Carol stayed busy knitting, crocheting, making quilts that she entered into the Caribou County Fair and she received many ribbons for her work.
Carol enjoyed spending her weekends camping at Tin Cup and Gravel Creek while the family would fish and hunt. She always enjoyed when a new nephew or niece came into the family and looked forward to watching and spoiling them.
Carol was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and received her endowment in the Ogden temple on May 19, 1994.
Carol is survived by her son Richard Carl Hirsbrunner, Soda Springs, Idaho; mother Lucille Hirsbrunner Soda Springs, Idaho; 2 sisters, Lora Williams Mendon, Utah and Betty (Barry) Bassett Grace, Idaho; 2 brothers, Dr. Wayne (Mary) Hirsbrunner Roy, Utah, and David (Candy) Hirsbrunner Kaysville, Utah and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Hirsbrunner, 1 infant brother, grandparent's John Hirsbrunner and Maria Zumbrunn, Albert Reese and Mary Petersen, 2 bother in-law's, Tom Keetch and Lenard Williams and a niece Anne Keetch.
Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 12 at Noon at the Soda Springs 4th Ward Chapel (281 East Hooper Ave). Family will visit with friends on Friday 10-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services.
