Carol Lynn Rigby, 84, of Soda Springs passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in Pocatello, Idaho.

She was born on May 20, 1935 in Grace, Idaho. Her mother and father were Floyd J. and Rose Jensen Smart.

Carol lived in Grace for 18 years where she graduated from Grace High School.

She married Robert "Bob" Rigby on September 30, 1953 in Logan, Utah. They moved to Soda Springs where she has lived for 66 years. Bob passed away on June 14, 2012.

Carol was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She owned the Arctic Circle for 10 years and she worked at the ASC Office Department of Agriculture for 42 years. She also enjoyed being a member of the Pink Lady's, Daughter of The Pioneers and Red Hats organizations.

She loved going to Yellowstone, fishing on the Blackfoot, family trips and camping.

Carol is survived by two sons, Robert Lynn (Shaunna) Rigby and Brooks (Heidi) Rigby all of Soda Springs, ID. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Dee Ann (Glade) Christensen. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Don Smart, Keith Smart, Spencer Smart and two sisters, Norma Kloser and Cleo Robinson.

Services will be held on Monday, January 13 at Noon at the Soda Springs Stake Center. Family will visit with friends on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home and also on Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
