Chad Jay Allred 57, passed away at Portneuf Medical Center on June 23, 2024

Chad was born in Pocatello, Idaho on June 15, 1967. He was adopted at birth by Jay and Lorraine Allred. Chad resided in Soda Springs, Idaho for the majority of his life. Chad attended all schooling in Soda Springs Idaho, graduating in 1986.  After high School he worked at the Forest Service as a firefighter for many years, then went to the Union Pacific Railroad for the remainder of his working days.

Chad had two kids by an early marriage, Bradley Jay and Kiauna Paige. Chad then married the love of his life, Sandra Allred on August 8th, 2014.

Chad was known for his love of rock and roll, especially Iron Maiden, whose emblem was on his truck. He had a strong love for his 1985 Chevy 1500 truck. He had a plethora of '80s Rock records. Chad liked having a beer and sharing his music with friends and family through out the years. Chad also loved to collect trains, wolf pictures, and anything purple.  Chad loved spending time with his wife. He had a big passion for camping and fishing. He was the one of a kind guy, who made many friends in his life who will remember him with humorous and wild memories.

Chad is survived by his wife Sandy, his children Bradley (Emily) and Kiauna, and three grandchildren Foryst (7), Lavendyer (2),and Oakley(4). He is also survived by his dad Jay Allred (Gladys Greer), two sisters Diane and Teresa, and brother-in-law Charlie.

Chad was proceeded in death by his mother Lorraine and special nephew, Darin Beck.

A viewing for friends and family was held on Friday, June 28, 2024, followed by a burial prayer at Fairview Cemetery. The family would like to thank all his friends and relatives who left great memories that made us smile!
