Cheri Jeanette Grover Orr, 69, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020

Cheri was born March 17th, 1951 in Pocatello Idaho to Floyd and Eileen Grover. Their second child and first daughter. Cheri spent her childhood mostly in McCammon Idaho, where she loved to spend time with her Grandparents Grover. She learned how to crochet from her Grandma, and it was something she enjoyed doing all her life. She had two brothers and a sister.

Cheri married Alan Orr in 1970 and together they had four daughters: Tina, Heather, Jennifer, and Sharla. They suffered the loss of their second daughter, Heather age 19 mo. in 1980. It was a difficult time, but they persevered and had two more daughters. Cheri lived in Soda Springs, Idaho; Paris, Idaho and Kearns, Utah, before settling in Bancroft, Idaho in 1992 for the remainder of her days.

Cheri loved her Iris plants and her house plants. She enjoyed camping and fishing in her younger years and growing her outdoor plants. She crocheted several blankets for her grandchildren and was always happy to see her children and grandchildren. She spent fifteen years as a Home Health CNA and enjoyed the times she spent with her patients. She loved cats and they were drawn to her home as if they knew she would care for them. Cheri and her sister Karen were close, both sisters and friends. She was close to her mother and missed her very much when she passed on.

She was preceded in death by her nephew Scott, daughter Heather, Father, brother Mike, and Mother. She is survived by her husband, Alan; Daughters; Tina (Dusty), Jennifer (Jesse) Sharla (Rusty) and 10 grandchildren, and a sister, Karen Kofoed and a brother, Brent Grover (Wanda). She and her husband would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.

We are sorry to see her leave her family, but she is smiling now that she is reunited with her parents, daughter, nephew and all her fur kids. She will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
