Obituary
Connie Jane Freeland Squires, 62 of Soda Springs, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.
She was born April 18, 1950 at Hershey Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Martha DiMagno Freeland. She lived there until 1972 when she moved to Idaho.
She married Robert R Squires July 29, 1972 in Hershey Pa.
Connie received a BA in Education at Lebanon Valley College. She taught at Tigert Middle School in the Special Education Program; also taught GED Classes; served in the Juvenile Conference and T & C Catering.
Connie was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She taught Sunday School and was a member of Presbyterian Woman.
She was Worthy Matron of the Goldenrod Chapter #64 Eastern Star; Past Bethel Guardian of Bethel 60 Jobs Daughters.
She enjoyed knitting, her grandchildren, Eastern Star and Jobs Daughters.
Connie is survived by her husband Robert Squires, 2 sons and 2 daughters and their spouses; Daniel and Jen Squires, Soda Springs, Tim Squires, Boise, Id; Laura and Scott Robinson, Boise; and Jill and Jake Smith of Soda Springs. also surviving are 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services were conducted on Saturday November 24th at 1:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church with Mazie Porter officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Golden Rod #64 Chapter in Soda Springs.
