Cora Lorraine Loveless Dursteler, 74; passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs.
Cora was born March 25, 1936 in Salmon, Idaho the daughter of Curtis Gilbert Loveless and Rosa Elizabeth Hale.
She married Martin Dale Dursteler on January 20, 1956 n Burley, Idaho. Dale passed away on July 16, 2005.
Cora was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She was very active in the community and the Chamber and also Bingo for Scholarships, fundraiser for MDA. She also had been a Jr. Bowling Coach and owned and operated "Mom & Dads" in Soda Springs. She was there for anyone that needed help, a mother to a community.
Cora loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed making Christmas socks for those she loved, quilting and making homemade bread and jams for her family.
She is survived by four sons and one daughter, Chuck and Linda Dursteler of West Valley, UT; Dale Ray and Joanne Dursteler of Henry, ID; Dick Dursteler of Ruth, NV; Gary and Kim Dursteler of Elko, NV; Connie and Sherwin Thomas of Grace, ID. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 on the way, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 1 grandson and her parents.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs and on Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Stake Center prior to services. Burial will be in the Turner Cemetery.
