Obituary
Dallin Lamar Tarbet, 61; of Soda Springs passed away at his home on June 12, 2010.
Dallin was born May 28, 1949 in Preston, Idaho the son of Qumen Ray and Alice Carver Tarbet.
He married Doris Dee Branson on March 16, 1967 in Pocatello, Idaho.
Dallin had lived in Idaho for eighteen years before moving to Wyoming where he lived for nineteen years. He then moved to Nevada where he lived for twenty one years and then three years ago he moved back to Soda Springs, Idaho.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Dallin enjoyed hunting and fishing and black powder.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter; Dale and Evon Tarbet of Elko, NV; Dave and Kerry Tarbet of Meridian, ID; and Cassy and Rhyan Meade of Elko, NV. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and two brothers, John and Patsy Tarbet, David and Sandra Tarbet and two sisters Marie and Terry Johnson and Paula and Bob Burgin. He was preceded in death by parents Ray and Alice Tarbet, and a granddaughter, Courtney Jean Tarbet.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Sims Funeral Home. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at www.cff.org.
