Obituary

Deanne Rogers, 65, of Bancroft, Idaho passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in Utah as result of an automobile accident. Deanne was born July 1, 1947 in Burley, Idaho the daughter of Harold Dale and Alma Merle Matson Hayden. She had lived in Seattle, WA, Pocatello, ID, Dallas, TX, Gooding, ID, New Mexico and a resident of Bancroft, ID for 36 years. Deanne married Virgil Neal Rogers on January 3, 1966 in Idaho. He passed away on November 19, 2000. She attended ISU Tech where she earned an associate's degree. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Deanne was also a proud member of the "Old Biddy Club". She was an avid reader and liked traveling and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons and five daughters, Neal and Shauna Rogers of Magna, UT, Eric and Carrie Rogers of Stansburry Park, UT, Wendi and Jeff Barker of West Jordan, UT, Lisa and Thomas Apadoca of Albuquerque, NM, Joanna and Thad Beebe of Chubbuck, ID, Kari and Michael Bollard of Magna, UT, Amanda and Duston Cheney of Ft. Bragg, NC. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and two brothers Clay Burt and Matt Burt, two sisters Sandra Roberts and Barbara Alvarez. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil, a brother Steven Haskell and her mother Merle Burt. Services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Bancroft LDS Ward Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs and on Saturday morning from11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Bancroft Cemetery. Listen to service:
