Debra Lu Littleton Gummersall, 58, of Soda Springs passed away at her home on Thursday, December 20, 2012 surrounded by her family.
Debra was born on January 5, 1954 in Crandon, Wisconsin the daughter of Allen Edward and Jean Flannery Littleton.
She was raised in Crandon, Wisconsin and moved to Saratoga, Wyoming for 8 years at the age of 23. She then moved to Soda Springs, Idaho where she resided from 1980 until the time of her passing.
She was of Pentecostal Christian Faith, and attended the Church of God in Crandon, WI through-out her youth.
Debra married David Davis and they were later divorced.
She married Lonnie Ray Gummersall on December 4, 1981 in Soda Springs, Idaho.
She drove school bus for the Soda Springs School District for many years and then she ran rural mail routes for the Soda Springs Post Office and Grace Post Office . She also had worked as a Clerk for Lallatins Food Town in Soda Springs and had also drove a haul truck for Circle A Construction at the mine.
Debra enjoyed cooking, decorating and various crafts. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Lonnie Gummersall of Soda Springs, ID, and two sons Kris and Jennie Davis of Soda Springs, ID, Jake and Saesha Gummersall of Soda Springs, ID, and two daughters, Kasey and John Cary of El Paso, TX, and Mandy and Miles Lancaster of Afton, WY. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and her mother Jean Littleton of Crandon, WI, and Vivian Littleton (step-mother) of Monico, WI, four brothers, Al Littleton of Crandon, WI, Terry Littleton of Unity, WI, Mitch Littleton of Monico, WI, Gary Littleton of Monico, WI and a sister Josie Littleton of Monico, WI. She was preceded in death by her father Allen Littleton and a brother David Littleton.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Noon at the Bailey Creek LDS Chapel in Soda Springs, ID (361 South 3rd East). The family will visit with friends on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
