Dennis H. Moser was 81 years old when he passed away in the morning hours of March 16th, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

Dennis was born March 12, 1937 to Vernon Gilbert Moser and Alta Sophia Higginson Moser. He graduated from North Gem High School and then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Frankfurt, Germany. Soon after returning home he attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT where he studied Agriculture and Diesel mechanics.

On February 17, 1961 he married Deanne Mae Rasmussen in the Logan, Utah LDS temple. They were blessed with 7 children: Darcy (Nancy) Moser, D'Lyn Moser, Devan (Susan) Moser, Derek (Karen) Moser, Dustin (Cherish) Moser, Danjee (Tiffany) Moser and Dayna (Blake) Kent. He has 34 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Dennis was a Rancher / Farmer for most of his career. Later on he worked in construction and managed the repair of heavy equipment. He served in many capacities in the LDS church including High Counselor, temple ordinance worker, bishopric , and home teacher. He enjoyed work and instilled in his children the value of hard work and service to others. Soon after retirement he and his wife served another mission for the LDS Church in England.

Dennis had a beautiful voice and loved to play the piano and sing. He sang at rodeos, funerals, weddings, church meetings, and wherever he was asked.

He is survived by his 7 children, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Deanne, his parents and his sister Sarah Maughan.

A viewing for Dennis will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 pm on Friday March 23 at Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs. The visitation with the family will be at the Grace LDS Church on Saturday March 24 from 10:00 to 11:30 followed by the funeral beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Thatcher Cemetery.
