Obituary

Dianna Sheri Hemmert, 69; was born January 13, 1940 at Niter, Idaho to Richard Warner and Caroline Pernilla Westerburg Crossley. She passed away at home July 30, 2009 with her loving husband at her side.

She was raised and educated in Grace, Idaho. It was there she met her husband and best friend Neal G. Hemmert. They have enjoyed 54 wonderful years together filled with adventure and joy. They were sealed in the Logan Temple on June 28, 1965.
They were blessed with three beautiful daughters, Debbie, Carol and Wendy.

Dianna and Neal enjoyed camping and going on trips with the historical society. One of their favorite activities was driving to Star Valley Wyoming to the Cheese Factory where everyone there know and loved them.
Dianna enjoyed serving others no matter the circumstance. She loved the needle arts and crocheting. She donated much of her work to area hospitals and those she loved in her wards. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her "Sweetheart Neal" and her family with all her heart and soul.

She is survived by the love of her life Neal G. Hemmert of Soda Springs, Debbie Lynne and Kevin O'Donnal of Tacoma, Washington; Carol Lee Rose and Devin Woods of Soda Springs, Idaho; and Wendy Dianna and don Seelye of Puyallup, Washington. She has 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. She is also survived by 4 brothers, Edwin (Lynn) Crossley, Gerald (Cynthia)Crossley, Lynn (Allyne) Crossley and Michael (Jeanne) McComb and 3 sisters Bonnie (Keith) Hemmert, Patricia (Larry) Larsen, and Lavera Mae Borowry. She was preceded in death by her mother Caroline Crossley, stepmother Viola McComb Crossley and Father Richard W. Crossley.

Dear Mom, we have lost a listening ear, a loving shoulder to cry on and a best friend. You have given us a lifetime of memories and a glorious heritage to enjoy until w meet again. We love and miss you so much.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Noon at the Hooper LDS Chapel in Soda Springs. Family will meet with friends on Monday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home and on Tuesday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
