Donald Ray Perkins, Sr.; 65 of McCammon passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Portneuf Medical Center.

Don was born on May 26, 1954 in Soda Springs, Idaho the son of Eldon L. and Monna J. Bills Perkins. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He lived most of his life in Lava Hot Springs. He was a cook at the Cedar View Restaurant, Chuck Wagon, Thad's Restaurant and the Blue Moon bar and Grill. He also drove pilot cars for Pathfinders.

Don enjoyed panning for gold, rock hunting, carpentry, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by a son, Donald R. Perkins Jr., and one grandchild. He is also survived by one brother, Ron and Carol Perkins of Thayne, WY, and two sisters Linda and Duff Woolsey of Soda Springs, ID, Barb and Ernie Lowe Sr. of Blackfoot, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, two nephews Trenton Lowe and Ernie Lowe Jr. and a great-nephew Curtis Call-Kofoed.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 2 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
