Douglas Dockstader, our loving Dad, Grandpa and Husband returned to Heaven passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho.

Doug was born on February 23, 1935 in Mink Creek, Idaho the son of Adam Grant and Virga Rasmussen Dockstader.

He was raised in Mink Creek and attended schools in Mink Creek and in Preston.

Doug married Roma Bergquist in February 1955. She passed away November 1962. They had four children, Shelly, Melanie, Lisa and Blake.

He married Geneal Baker on February 3, 1965 in Elko, Nevada. They had four children, Stephanie, Darrin D., NicKole, Scott G.

Doug spent most of his life in Wayan, ID and Soda Springs, ID and spent the last four winters in Kingman, AZ.

He loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed riding ATV's and camping.

Doug is survived by his wife Geneal Dockstader of Soda Springs, ID, Stephanie (Chad) Hunter of Grace, ID, Darrin D. (Tricia) Dockstader of Soda Springs, ID, NicKole (Bill) Mullen of Soda Springs, ID, Scott G. Dockstader of Soda Springs, ID, Melanie (Steve) Jones of Soda Springs, ID, Lisa (Kelly) Stephens of St. George, UT. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his first wife, Roma, one daughter Shelly, one son Blake, and one sister Bernice, a brother Grant Blaine and two grandsons, Jared and Derek Smith.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Noon at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs. The family will visit with friends on Saturday morning from 9-11 a.m. at the Sims Funeral Home prior to service at cemetery.
