Stuart Duane Beins passed away peacefully at his home in Soda Springs, ID December 15, 2022.

He was born December 1, 1944 in Soda Springs, ID to Stuart Addison Beins and Marjorie Ellen Panting Beins. He was the oldest of two children. He was a graduate of Soda Springs High in 1963, after which he attended Utah State University in Logan, UT. His career in sales took him and his family to Utah, Texas, and back to Idaho which became his final home. He enjoyed many activities such as camping, fishing, singing, rotary club, church, and spending time with family and friends.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved the many callings he had.

He was married to his eternal bride and companion Diane Stapley September 1, 1967 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

He is survived by the love of his Life Diane, their 8 children Valee Wells (Kelly), Christopher Beins (Allison), John Beins (Summer), Eric Beins(Michelle), Rebecca Udy (Rick), Emily King (Eric), Alease Meads (Cody), Stephen Beins (Taylor), 24 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, and his sister Susan Fillmore (Peter).

He was preceded in death by his father Stuart Addison Beins, mother Marjorie Ellen Painting Beins, and a grandson Andrew Bryce Wells.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23, 2022 at the Soda Springs 2nd Ward (Soda Springs Stake Center) at 12:00 pm.  The family will meet with friends prior to services at the church from 10:00-11:30.  Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
