Dorius Dwight Black, 66; of Soda Springs, Idaho passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho.

Dwight was born on August 2, 1955 in Orlando, Florida the son of Dorius Either and Anna Lois Jackson Black.

He grew up in Apopca, Florida.  After high school he Enlisted in the Army where he served for 3 years.

Dwight has lived in South Ogden, Utah and Layton area for 5 years and Lava Hot Springs, Idaho for one year and Pocatello, Idaho for two years and in Soda Springs, Idaho where he has lived for the past 10 years.

He married Carol Eppich on October 7, 1988 in South Ogden, UT.

Dwight enjoyed going for walks and playing with Sweetpea, his pit bull companion dog and PeaWee his chihuahua.

He is survived by his wife Carol Black of Soda Springs, ID and their family of beloved pets, Bee & Bop (2 finches), Ringo (dove), Boo & Sky (2 parakeets), Abby (golden retriever), PeaWee (chihuahua).  He is also survived by a brother Michael Dwayne Black and two nephews, Stephen Black and Gregory Black.  Dwight was preceded in death by his parents and an older brother Hugh Black.
