Elaine Elizabeth Connary Shamburg Harding was born to William and Clara Connary on May 4, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She married James Lawrence and they had a son, James Claire (Pete).  She later married Francis Shamburg.  Francis Shamburg adopted her son James (Pete) and Elaine and Francis had a daughter together, Frances Starlene Shamburg.  Francis passed away on December 14, 1958.

Elaine met Maurice Harding and his two children, Laura May Harding and Keith Maurice Harding.  Elaine and Maurice enjoyed their time in the mountains of Salmon, where they traveled by horseback, sleeping in leaky tents or on the ground and eating out of saddle bags.

Elaine is predeceased by her husband Maurice and two children, James (Pete) and Keith.  Elaine is survived by her children Frances Starlene and Laura May, her grandchildren, Sheldon, Brian, Lonnie, Landen, Nicole, Randy, Chuck, Lori and Alana, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bancroft Cemetery.  Family will visit with friends on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs prior to going to the cemetery.
