On a beautiful Sunday morning, July 28, 2019, Elsina DeLong returned to the loving arms of her family.

Elsina was born October 19, 1931 in Bancroft, Idaho to Harry R. And Jeannett Peterson. Elsina spent her adolescent years in Bancroft, Thatcher and Grace, Idaho. After graduating high school, she went to work for Dr. Johnson as his nurse. During this time, she met and married the love of her life, James (Jim) DeLong on April 12, 1950. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple.

She is survived by one daughter, Lucetta (Kelly) Holt, Grace, Idaho; three sons, Richard (Billie) DeLong, Evanston, Wyoming, Mike DeLong, Riverdale, Idaho and Les (Alice) DeLong, Grace, Idaho. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Pete (Karen) Peterson of Centerville, Utah and by many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. Family will visit with friends on Friday morning from 10-11:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Thatcher Cemetery.
