Ema Valdez Varela Garcia, 81 passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Caribou Memorial Living Center in Soda Springs, Idaho.
Ema was born on September 8, 1932 the daughter of Manuel Valdez and Virginia Varela in Chihuahua, Mexico.
She married Enrique Garcia in 1948 in Mexico. He passed away April 2012.
Ema enjoyed traveling, dancing, and going out with her friends. She loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Javier & Mireya of New Mexico, Eulalio & Cuca of Wyoming, Luis of Mexico, Martha & Ron Dunbar of Soda Springs, ID, Maruca & Ramon of Mexico, Juana & Damon of Wyoming, Blanca of New Mexico. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren and three brothers Manuel, Heriberto, Arturo and three sisters, Amparo, Josefa and Virginia.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 5 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home.
