Eugene F. Puls, 84; of Soda Springs, Idaho died peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and daughter and son-in-law.

Eugene was born on September 29, 1937 in Yoder, Wyoming the son of Ferd and Audrey Miller Puls.

He graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1956 in Kemmerer, Wyoming.  He attended Casper Jr. College on a 2 year basketball scholarship.

He married Carolyn Salser on September 12, 1959 in the Presbyterian Church in Soda Springs, Idaho.

Eugene worked at Monsanto as a Maintenance Planner.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and always liked helping others.  He also enjoyed snowmobiling, watching the Denver Broncos and the Utah Jazz and working on and building his '34 Ford Coupe.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Salser Puls of Soda Springs, ID, and a daughter Jana and Todd Meikle of Soda Springs, ID.  He is also survived by two brothers, Randy (candy) Puls of Reno, NV, Dennis Puls of El Dorado, KS and a sister Connie Mausolf of Kingman, AZ.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Gina Puls.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Soda Springs Presbyterian Church.  Family will visit with friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home.
