Faye Marie Kershaw Rigby, 82; of Grace passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs.
Faye was born April 27, 1928 in Dayton, Idaho the daughter of Maralba Davis and Mary Grace Purcell Kershaw.
She Lived in Preston, Idaho until 1942 when she moved to Grace.
She married Max Eldon Rigby on February 1, 1946 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. Max passed away on September 23, 2006.
Faye was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served in various ward and Stake leadership positions.
She was also a member of the Republican Election Committee, previous owner of Fabulous Fabrics in Grace and had been the secretary of the Tanner Canal Company. She was also involved with the Farm Bureau and Pink Ladies.
She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, reading, hand-dipping chocolates, baking and cooking. She loved family get-togethers and visiting with family.
Faye is survived by four sons and three daughters, Keith and Pauline Rigby of Grace, ID; Steven and Karla Rigby of Pocatello, ID; Ryan and Wendy Rigby of Bancroft, ID; and Roger and Courtney Rigby of Chubbuck, ID; Dianne and Lee Warner of Apple Valley, CA; Sandra and Jon Rice of Pocatello, ID; and Sharlene and Dale Simons of Grace, ID. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a brother Maralba "D" Kershaw of Beaverton, OR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max; and Maxine Marie Rigby (daughter), and Stephanie Lynn Hamp (granddaughter), and Casey Dee Rice (grandson) and two brothers and three sisters.
Services were held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. Burial was in the Grace Cemetery.
The family suggest donations be made to the Caribou Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
