Obituary

Gary Virgil Rudy, 75, of Grace passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Gary was born on December 11, 1941 in Forks, Washington the son of Virgil Eugene and Gloria Alice Maxfield Rudy. He married Judy Ann Miller on January 29, 1981 in Grace, Idaho. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls temple a year later. Gary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served as Bishop while living in California. He had also served on the High Council and in various other callings throughout his life. He worked for Boeing on the Minute Man Project and also worked for Parsons in L.A. California on the Fast Track Rail Terminals. Gary had a Ruger gun collection and enjoyed going to gun shows in Ogden, UT to show others and enjoyed talking guns. He also enjoyed playing the Wii. When he was younger he also like to ride snowmobiles and sail on his sail boat. He is survived by his wife Judy Ann Rudy of Grace, ID, and his children, Scott and Gloria of Henderson, NV, Susan and Randy of Grace, ID, Chet and Wendy of Ogden, UT, Blake and Doreen of Toole, UT, Bryan and Liz of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a brother Stephen and Bonnie Rudy and a sister, Janice Rudy. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs. Family will visit with friends on Monday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Bedford Wyoming Cemetery. Listen to service
