Obituary

Grace Barnhart Wheeler, 93, formerly of Soda Springs, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008, in Pocatello, Idaho.
She was born March 5, 1914 in Driggs, Idaho; the daughter of Felix and Carrie Barnhart. She was raised and educated in eastern Idaho.
On April 29, 1931; she married Levi Lavell Wheeler in the Logan LDS Temple. They lived from 1931 to 1962 in Pocatello, Idaho, where their four children were born and raised. They moved to Soda Springs in 1962 when they purchased Wheeler Auto Parts, retiring in 1981.
She was a member of the LDS Church in which she held numerous callings. Her favorite being Scouting. She received the Silver Fawn Award for her service to the young men in Soda Springs.
She was a member for many years of the Home Demonstration Club in Soda Springs. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, crocheting, and music.
Grace is survived by her four children: Wynona (Larry) Brackenbury of Twin Falls, Idaho; June (Dale) Angus of Bancroft, Idaho; Ronald Dee (Rebecca) Wheeler of Quincy, Illinois; and Linda (Lynn) Merrill of Swan Valley, Idaho. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Nina Bitton of Pocatello, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Lavell Wheeler; one grandson, Ryan Dee Angus; and her siblings Thomas Harrison Barnhart, Essie Jacobsen, Fern Steed, and Vivien Barnhart.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center. Burial was in the Inkom Cemetery, in Inkom, Idaho.
