Helen Jean Nelson Dimick, 85 of Bancroft passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018.

She was born on May 14, 1932 in Montpelier, Idaho the daughter of Eugene and Florence Quinton Nelson.

She attended high school and went on and became a CNA and in 1995 received a Certificate of Recognition by Governor Batt.

She married Orval N. Dimick on October 25, 1958 in Montpelier, Idaho. Orval passed away on May 11, 2017.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She enjoyed gardening, rock collecting, spoon collecting, cooking and canning. Her smile brightened up the room. She was kind to everyone and loved deeply. Nothing was more important to her than her husband, children and great grandchildren. She left behind an amazing legacy.

She is survived by two sons and four daughters, Jim & Nancy Dimick of Orfino, ID, Dan & Canda Dimick of Lava Hot Springs, ID, Jacquelyn & Alton Hebdon of Smithfield, UT, Sheryl & Dave Gleason of New Braunfels, TX, LuJean & Bill Goodenough of Idaho Falls, ID, LuAnn & Bob Greer of Brookfield, CT. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 79 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Orval.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 15 at Noon at the Bancroft LDS Ward Chapel. Family will visit with friends on Thursday morning from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Bancroft Cemetery.
