Helen Myers, 89 years old, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in Soda Springs, Idaho.

Helen was born on August 12, 1930 in Lava Hot Springs, Caribou, Idaho, to Abraham Wyatt Myers and Neoma Poppelton Hill. She lived in Grace, Idaho most of her life, and worked as a nurse for many years.

Helen was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints throughout her life. In the 1950's, she served an 18-month mission for the Church in California. She served in various other callings over the years but was especially devoted as a visiting teacher/ministering sister. Helen cherished relationships with friends and family members, always taking the time to write letters and send cards for birthdays and other holidays. She also enjoyed spending time crocheting and reading books.

She is survived by 8 nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Harvey Myers, and her sisters Merle Herre, Ethel Egbert, Lucy H. Myers and Lorna Hall.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 15 from 6-8 pm. At the Sims Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 16 at the Wellsville Cemetery (400 N. 200 E. Wellsville, UT 84339).
