Helene Irving, 61; of Soda Springs passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 in Pocatello at the Portneuf Medical Center.
Helene was born April 5, 1950 the daughter of Glenn and Doris Widmer Irving in Montpelier, Idaho.

Later she returned to Soda Springs to work for BH & I Incorporated. Years later she became the bookkeeper at Gagon Lumber. At the time of her death she was employed at the Caribou County Sun.
She loved animals, no stray went astray with Helene. She saw horses in the field during the winter without hay. She decided to "take care" of the situation and located some hay, picked it up in her Chevy Blazer and took it to feed the horses.
She was an exceptional gal, every job she did was perfect. She was a very independent person. She could always do it herself - "I don't need help." Helene had a goofy sense of humor and was so sweet.
Helene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She loved her flower garden, painting, and reading. She also enjoyed music by the Beetles, Elvis and Bob Dylan.
She is survived by her mother Doris Irving of Soda Springs, ID. She was preceded in death by her father Glenn C. Irving and her brother Larry G. Irving.
