Henry Roy Bailey "Hank", 71 of Soda Springs passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah.
Hank was born on October 16, 1941 in Miles City, Montana the son of Caral Franklin and Alice Marion Griggs Bailey.
He lived in various places in Montana until the family moved to Northern Idaho in 1949. he lived in Kodiak, Alaska from 1965 until moving to Soda Springs, Idaho in 1966.
He attended schools in Northern Idaho.
Hank enjoyed all motor sports. He was good at building engines and enjoyed drag racing at the Intermountain Raceway in Pocatello. He also enjoyed cooking and giving his goodies to family and friends. He loved his family very much and he especially loved all of his nieces and nephews, they were the highlight of his life. If you couldn't find Hank you could always find him dragging main in one of his muscle cars or in the garage working on them.
He is survived by three brothers, Ed and Barbara Bailey, Dennis Bailey, Tom and Arlene Bailey, and one sister, Caroll Lee and Gary Vorwaller, and a sister-in-law Bonnie Bailey all of Soda Springs, Idaho. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents and a brother Dan Bailey.
Services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Noon at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs. The family will visit with friends on Friday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
