Obituary
Nancy Irene Ledbetter, 78, of Soda Springs, passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs.
She was born December 17, 1929 at Douglas County, Missouri, the daughter of Julian and Melissa Collins Johnson.
Irene was raised and educated in West Plains Missouri, and followed construction living in numerous places, moving to Soda Springs in 1973. She married Homer Orvil Ledbetter, September 11, 1947 at West Plains. He passed away August 31, 1978.
She worked in the cafeteria for the Soda Springs School District for many years.
Irene was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a son Randy and Chris Ledbetter; 2 daughters, Dixie Ledbetter and Donna Ledbetter all of Soda Springs. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Garrett and Haley Ledbetter; 3 brothers; Orvil and Raynes Johnson, Redding CA; Tom and Anita Johnson, Atlanta, GA, Jerry and Pat Johnson, West Plains, MO and a sister Pauline Osborn, Eugene, Oregon.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Betty Partee.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, October 17th at 1:00 p.m. and the Sims Funeral Home. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery. Cremation services were held Monday, October 13, 2008.
