Isavel Perez de Rodreguez, 88; passed away on July 15, 2021 in Fresno, California.

Isavel was born on July 2, 1933 in El Molino Nochistlan, Zacatecas, Mexico to Luis Perez Sandoval and Peter Velasco Mejia.

She lived in El Molino, until she was 16 years old when she married Pedro Rodriguez Nungaray, on February 14, 1952 in Nochistlan Zac. They moved to El Sausillo where they lived until 1979 and had 4 children, Antonia Mejia, Rosario Rodriguez, Baudelaire Rodriguez (deceased), Magdalena Yamas.

In 1979 they migrated to Grace, Idaho were Isavel made a home with Pedro and worked for Frank Stoddard and Norman Johnson harvesting potatoes and keeping a home where friends and family visited and enjoyed her wonderful cooking, beautiful garden, and the warm and happy environment she provided. She moved to Fresno California and lived with her daughter before her death.

Isavel was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Isavel liked sewing and crocheting and made many doilies and covers for pillows. Isavel was survived by two brothers, Jesus Perez Velasco, and Nieves Perez Velasco of El Molino, Mexico. Isavel has 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.

Isavel was preceded in death by her brother Lorenzo Perez Velasco and her husband Pedro Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held at Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs Idaho Monday August 2, between 10:00 and 11:30 A.M. Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, at 12 noon, located at 99 West Center Street. Interment will follow at Grace Cemetery, in Grace Idaho.
