Obituary
James Dean Trost, 64, of Soda Springs passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Portneuf Medical Center.
Jim was born on July 4, 1950 in Concordia, Kansas the son of Merton Ezra and Dorthy Ellen Holton Trost.
He graduated from Valley View High School, Caldwell, Idaho.
Jim lived had lived in Boise and Soda Springs, Idaho.
He worked in masonry and worked out of Park City, Utah.
Jim enjoyed collecting model cars, Native American knick-knacks, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Selena and Chysler Weeks of Grace, ID, and one grandchild, Kegan Jon Mickelson. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters, Richard Trost, Debra Jenson and Ilona Ode. He was preceded in death by a brother Norman Trost.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Noon at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
