James E. Wise Jr, 86, of Soda Springs, Idaho passed away December 26, 2019.

James was born July 12, 1933 in Tulsa, OK to James E. Wise Sr. and Willie Fern Wise.

After serving in the Air Force, he met and married Janice Ann Wright on October 24, 1963.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a younger sister, Wilda Cook, of Alabama.
He is survived by his wife, Jan; his three younger siblings, Wilma Wood, Wanda Nixon of Oklahoma, John Wise of Colorado; his three children, Jim and Renee Wise of N. Mankato, Minnesota, Tracy Wise of Pensacola, Florida, Michele (Wise) and Ben Nigg of Lone Tree, Iowa, and his two grandchildren, Janee and Jimmy Wise.

James enjoyed model railroading, camping, white water rafting, woodworking and visiting with many friends.

The Wise family wishes to thank all the caring staff at Caribou Memorial Living Center for all their love and care and the many neighbors and friends for their support and kindness.

As per his wishes, there will be a celebration of his life at a later date in 2020.
