Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Janet Ann Hall Anderson, age 86, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, March 23, surrounded by loved ones at Heritage Nursing Home.
Janet was born on October 6, 1939, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Armond and Roni Hall. She was raised on a family farm in Inkom, Idaho, where she developed a deep love for animals, especially caring for the baby animals. She attended Inkom Elementary School and later Marsh Valley High School, graduating in 1957. During her school years, she enjoyed cheerleading and performing.
Following graduation, Janet attended Brigham Young University. While living in Salt Lake City, she met the love of her life, Clair “Andy” W. Anderson. They were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on May 10, 1963, and together built a life centered on love, family, and faith.
Janet lived in Lava Hot Springs until 2007, when she and Andy moved to Soda Springs. She will be remembered for her kindness, devotion to her family, and the joy she found in being surrounded by those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair “Andy” Anderson; her parents, Armond and Roni Hall; one grandchild and one great grandchild; and her brother-in-law, Ridge Phillips.
Janet is survived by her children: Lance (Sherrie) Anderson of Highland, Utah; Lori (Robert) Buck of Soda Springs; and Casey (Michelle) Anderson of Chubbuck, Idaho; her sister, Bonnie Phillips of Mapleton, Utah; as well as 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, at the Soda Springs Bailey Creek LDS Chapel. A viewing for friends and family will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with services beginning at 12:00 p.m.
