Jeanette Williams, 82; passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020.
Her husband Harry Williams preceded her in death in September 2019.
Jeanette was born in October of 1937 in Oklahoma to Kenneth Syfert and Roma Minser Syfert. She spent 7 years of her life in Oklahoma before moving to Nebraska where she received her education 3rd grade through college. She taught for 6 years in South Dakota and Nebraska before marrying Harry Williams in June of 1968. After she taught 3 more years before her children were born. She like the lower grades, especially 3rd grade. She taught children as an aide from 1990 to 1998 as well as other work at the Hemingway School in Idaho.
Jeanette enjoyed traveling, a little camping and gardening. Her favorite place was Maui.
Surviving her, are two daughters, Wendy Williams and Carrie Wigdale who live in Idaho as well as a son-in-law, John Wigdale and granddaughter, Joanna.
She has 7 siblings living. Louise Gusso, Marjorie Campbell from Tennessee, Gene Syfert from Oregon, Marian Page from Texas, Bobbi Litzenberber from Florida, Jim Syfert from South Carolina, and Don Syfert from AK. She has 16 nieces and nephews who survive her with at least 13 great-nieces and nephews.
She belonged to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she taught classes from cradle roll to adult classes although she preferred the classes from cradle roll to primary classes.
She will be buried by her husband, Harry, to be announced at a later date.
