Jeffery Hugh Latham, 71 of Grace, Idaho passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in St. George, Utah.

Jeff was born on March 13, 1950 at the ranch on Roan Creek in De Beque, Colorado, the son of Joseph Ross and Marie Burdick Latham.  He was born on his mother's birthday.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam.  He served with Lima 3/1 Company in Vietnam January through December 1969.  He was machine gunner for his squad.  Jeff reenlisted for another 2 and a half years after returning from Vietnam.  Jeff was a Sargent when he was honorably discharged.

Jeff married the love of his life Laura Lynne Packer on August 30, 1975 in Soda Springs, Idaho.  They were married for 46 years living mostly in Soda Springs and Grace.

He had lived in De Beque, CO, Casper, WY, Soda Springs, ID, and Grace, ID.

Jeff was very active in the Toys for Tots program and was a member of the Elks Club, Shriners and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

He is survived by his wife Laura Latham of Grace, ID, one brother, Andy Latham, and two sisters, JoAnne Fenner and Zella (Randy) Corder.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, T.D. Boone Latham, Paul Latham and 4 nephews, JW Latham, Kelby Latham, Deke Latham and Craig Latham.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Noon at the Baptist Church in Soda Springs.  Family will visit with friends on Tuesday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery with Military Honors.
