Obituary

Jennie Larue Goodfellow Lloyd, 80; of Bancroft passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Quinn Meadows Rehab and Care in Pocatello. Jennie was born on March 23, 1932 in Burley, Idaho the daughter of Gerald Tolman and Larue Nielsen Goodfellow. She lived in Nyssa, OR and Ontario, OR and Graduated from Ontario High School. She had worked at the Argus Observer, an Oregon news paper until 1954. She married Warren Parke Lloyd on November 5, 1954 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served in the nursery, primary, Sunday school, as Relief Society President and various other callings. She also served in the Family History Center for over 20 years and was a very faithful visiting teacher. Jennie was also active at the Caribou County Fair as Flower Chairman for many years. She also helped teach many children at the schools about flowers. She also helped at elections. She worked at the Caribou County Sun prior to having children. Jennie enjoyed flowers and cats. She was very talented in writing, painting, drawing, floral arrangements, embroidering and sewing. She is survived by her husband Warren Lloyd of Bancroft, ID; and one son, Calvin and Kimberly Lloyd of Bancroft, ID; and three daughters, Bonnie and Morris Bingham of Somers, CT; Loralee and Val Belk of Pingree, ID; and Brenda and Brett Welker of Pocatello, ID. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and one brother John Alden Goodfellow of Fresno, CA; and one sister Bonnie Wimber of West Valley, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gary and Bruce Goodfellow. Services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Noon at the Bancroft LDS Church. The family will visit with friends on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery. Listen to service:
