Elmo Jerald "Jerry" Davis, 86, of Soda Springs passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
Jerry was born on January 7, 1933 the son of Alvin James and Erma Rose Hagland Davis.

He grew up in Davisville, Idaho and moved into Soda Springs during high school. He Followed the pipeline to Arizona where he lived and worked for 7 years before returning back to Soda Springs.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He attended Idaho State University where he received a degree in Business.
Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting and operating heavy equipment. He loved telling stories about his life growing up in Davisville on the family ranch.

He is survived by three sons and a daughter, Craig (Jo-Ann) Davis of Soda Springs, ID, Sidney (Sheri) Davis of Soda Springs, ID, Layne (Annah) Davis of Boise, ID and Sudi (Darrryl) Davis of Soda Springs, ID. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a sister Deon Smith of Soda Springs. He was preceded in death by a daughter Misty Lee Davis, a sister Lila Lee Davis and a brother Ronald J. Davis.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 17 at 11 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday morning from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Sims Funeral Home prior to going to the cemetery.
